Blue Metal Roof — Farm House

Standing-seam blue metal panels installed over the farmhouse roof.

We worked this roof on April 9. Gray underlayment went down over the existing roof first. Then we fastened rows of wood strapping across it to carry the metal.

The blue panels went on one sheet at a time down the length of the roof. Next to the blue section, adjoining roof areas were sheathed with new OSB as the work moved along. From up top you can see open farm fields in every direction.
