Mobile Home — Deck, Porch & Re-Roof

New deck with railings, covered porch, and full shingle re-roof.

We started at the side door of this gray manufactured home with a new raised deck. Posts, frame, deck boards and wood railings went in first, with tall posts at the corners for what came next.

Those posts carry a new roof over the deck. We framed it, built stairs with railings down to the yard, and finished the underside with a white ceiling, which turned the open deck into a covered porch.

Up top, we re-roofed the home. Underlayment went down and new gray shingles were run across the roof up to the ridge. The owner ended up with a covered entry and a new roof in one project.
